I’m an adoptive parent of four, so having walked a mile in your shoes, I’m aware of all the joys and challenges that you encounter on a regular basis.

Coaching adoptive parents is something that’s near and dear to my heart, so I take special care of you, giving you answers to questions that may be gnawing at you.  Questions that, if left unanswered, could have serious consequences.

Questions like…

• How do I know when an issue or behavior is related to adoption?

• If I have unresolved infertility issues, or a nagging, irrational sense that I am not a "real parent," and it’s getting in the way of my ability to parent effectively—how can I resolve this once and for all?

• How and when should I talk to my child about adoption, and how do these conversations change from pre-school to adulthood?

• How much information should I share with my child's school?

• How do I teach my child to feel comfortable in his or her own skin, and proud of him or herself as a person?

• How much information should I share with my child about his or her birth family?

As your coach we’ll explore issues in depth and come up with workable solutions that you can take action on immediately.  Adoptive parenting can be a mine field of confusion, uncertainty and miscommunication.  It’s important for you to get in front of the issues that may be bothering you, so you can move forward toward a happier family life with supreme confidence.
